Psychology # 15 – Scapegoating

Rebellious Scapegoat

It took me years to understand the term of “scapegoating”, the more I gain the knowledge, the more anger / frustration I got.

Wish I can understand this term when I was young, it can definitely save me lots of energy / time towards healing journey.

Hope less people will be trapped like me for so long.

  1. Scapegoating of a child is soul murder.

  2. I think that people use scapegoating as a way to avoid dealing with their internal emotions and thoughts. No one wants to look within and deal with their pain. Very sad.

    1. I agree. Most people don’t like too examine the negative sides of themselves. But to project their negatives onto someone else because they can’t look at themselves is… extreme.
