  2. I was married to a stone-waller for 17 years (I called him a brick wall), and the result was that I was left feeling inadequate and doubting myself. Wish I had known this then.

  3. I’m so sorry you experienced that type of emotional abuse for 17 years. It’s the goal of the emotional abuser to leave their victims doubting themselves, feeling helpless and confused. I’m glad you were able to escape.
