Invisible Man by Ralph Ellison Book Review

Noiseless Madman

First published in 1952 and immediately hailed as a masterpiece, Invisible Man is one of those rare novels that have changed the shape of American literature.

There’s so much I could say about this masterpiece of a novel but I won’t so as not to spoil it for those who haven’t read it. I will say that the protagonist is easily relatable and extremely universal.

I highly recommend reading Invisible Man by Ralph Ellison!

I give it 4 out of 5 cups of coffee! 🙂

  1. Thanks for the reblog! 🙂

  2. My pleasure. I enjoyed reading this book for an African American literature class in college many years ago.
