  2. Yes, I think she did a good job of showing that much of reading memoir is discovering other people’s experiences that we can relate to–knowing we’re not alone, and sharing in their victories.

  3. Thanks for sharing this, I could relate so well to both the passage from the memoir she shares, and then what she had to say about it after reading the book, that I think I’d quite like to read the autobiography of Sally Mann for myself. Great piece, thanks.
